Tip 01Wash
Wash less, and gently.
Wash your wig about every 6 to 8 wears, or sooner in heat and humidity. Swish it through cool water with a wig shampoo and never rub, twist or wring the fiber.

Tip 02Condition
Keep conditioner off the cap.
Smooth conditioner from the middle of the hair to the ends only. Keeping it away from the cap protects the knots that hold each strand in place.

Tip 03Detangle
Comb from the ends up.
Hold the hair above the section you are working on and comb from the ends toward the cap with a wide tooth comb. Small sections keep the fiber from stretching.

Let it rest on a stand.
Pat your wig with a towel, then let it air dry on a stand. Between wears, keep it on the stand away from sunlight and heat so it holds its shape.

Know your fiber before the iron.
Only heat friendly and human hair styles can take a hot tool. Style heat friendly fiber around 300°F and human hair up to 350°F. Regular synthetic fiber should never meet heat.

Mind the oven door.
A rush of heat from an oven, kettle or dishwasher can frizz synthetic fiber for good. Step back when you open them while wearing your wig.
